Madeline Sell, PHD

Madeline is the Scientific Innovation Manager for Systems Oncology. Her key responsibilities include evaluating institutional acquisition opportunities using patent-driven searches, literature reviews, and investigation of academic start-ups. She also acts as a patent agent, assisting in the drafting and prosecution of System Oncology’s global patent portfolio. In addition, her role includes acting as a scientific project manager for drug discovery and development efforts.

Madeline received her B.S in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University, and her PhD in Pharmacology from Duke University. During her academic career, she was a voting member of Duke’s IRB as well as a fellow in the technology transfer office evaluating new scientific innovations. Her research experience has focused on drug development of diagnostics and imaging agents.
